The famous rent-a-gob, who inflamed society with her opinions on breast sizes and abortion, was thought to held after being reported to West Yorkshire Police over her Twitter account.
Sources have told Mirror Online the now 36-DD mother-of-three was eventually held by cops because of a series of complaints about her inflammatory social media and a complex personal relationship.
Josie, who just split from convicted domestic abuser Andrew Goy, has been unusually silent in recent weeks.

Josie has since deleted her Twitter profile

A close pal confided in Mirror Online: "Josie has been helping police with their enquiries over the past couple of weeks.
"There have been a group of people who have been making a lot of wrong allegations about her.
"She is an open and honest girl she has nothing to hide."
Josie's agent said: "It is inappropriate to comment at this time."
West Yorkshire Police told Mirror Online they couldn't confirm who may be subjected to an investigation in the future or presently.
The 24-year-old's Twitter profile has since been removed.
