BVN ENROLMENT INFORMATION AT GTB LONDON

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) requires all holders of Nigerian accounts in Nigerian Banks to register for a Bank Verification Number (BVN). This process requires customers of Nigerian banks to register their personal and biometric details along with valid IDs. This registration need only be carried out once but the holder must provide the BVN to all banks where they have accounts.
 
GTBank PLC, Nigeria, is making this registration service available to all its customers in the UK via its UK subsidiary which will forward all data directly to GTBank Plc. Data collected will not be subject to UK data protection laws, instead it will be held in accordance with Nigerian laws and regulatory requirements which the UK do not regard as equivalent.
 
Customers of GTBank PLC, Nigeria can now walkin and complete their BVN registration at the GTBank (UK) Ltd office at the address below. CBN have announced that account holders in Nigerian Banks will not be allowed access to their accounts beyond the registration deadline date, currently set as October 31, 2015.
 
Requirements for Enrolment
 
To register, you are required to provide the following documents:
 

• Completed BVN Enrolment Form, which can be downloaded here.
• BVN DPA Consent Form, which can be downloaded here.
• Valid ID: One of the following is required
• International Passport
• Nigerian National ID Card
• Driving Licence
