Omisore advises Osun workers

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has urged civil servants in the state not to despair despite the delay in the payment of their salaries.

Omisore said this in his New Year goodwill message to the people of the state.

 

In a statement in Osogbo on Wednesday, Omisore said the challenges confronting the people of the state would soon be over, with the coming of the year 2015.In the message circulated by his media aide, Mr. Victor Oriola, Omisore, who is a former deputy governor in the state, said that he was aware that most of the workers had not been paid for the past three months, while market women and artisans were experiencing very low patronage due to the salaries issues.
