Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will consider selling Gareth Bale if there's any truth to the rumours Manchester United are eyeing up a world-record £120 million bid, because they believe Marco Reus can be signed as a ready-made replacement for a fraction of that eye-watering fee.
Bale
That is according to the Express, who cite sources in Spain in revealing that Perez is ultimately a pragmatist and would find it very difficult to turn down swapping Bale for Reus while also putting a £100 million in the bank for Madrid to strengthen elsewhere.
Reus
Reus is available for just £20m when the current campaign concludes, with Dortmund powerless to stop any of Europe's top clubs activating the release clause in his deal at the end of the season
