10 persons cheat death as truck runs into a bus in Ondo

No fewer than 10 persons missed death by whiskers as the vehicle they were traveling in was hit by a truck in Oka-Akoko, Akoko South West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
According to an eyewitness, no life was lost but those involved sustained varied degrees of injuries.

The accident was said to be the second recorded within one week.

 

It was gathered that the truck, coming from an opposite direction, ran into a commercial bus carrying passengers.
DAILY POST learnt that the timely response by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, saved the day, as the victims were hurriedly rushed to a government hospital in the town.

 

The commission, however, impounded the truck while the driver was handed over to the police.
