Arsenal beats Hull City 3-1 in Premier League as Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey power Gunners level with Manchester City

Arsenal has beaten Hull City 3-1 in the Premier League clash at the KC Stadium to go level on points with second-placed Manchester City.

Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez opened the scoring with a deflected free-kick that looped over Tigers goalkeeper Andy Harper.

Aaron Ramsey was then released by a raking long pass from Santi Cazorla, before hitting another deflected finish past the keeper for 2-0.

The lead became 3-0, still inside the first half, when Sanchez burst past his marker to finish sumptuously for his second goal of the night.

Relegation-battling Hull could still take some heart from the fact it won the second half, when Stephen Quinn headed home a consolation goal early in the second stanza.
Arsenal is a chance of taking outright second place from deposed champions Manchester City, with a game in hand still to play.
