Chile beat Argentina on penalties to win the 2015 Copa America, their first major trophy

Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez slotted home the winning spot-kick for the host nation after Argentina striker Gonzalo Higuain blazed over the bar and Ever Banega was denied by Claudio Bravo.

Higuain had earlier missed from close range after 90 minutes of few chances.

Sanchez came closest for Chile in extra time and retained his composure for a cool finish in the shootout
