Nigerian police have arrested doctor with fake credentials who had many years worked with the Federal Ministry of Health.

According to police fake doctor took the identity of one Dr. George Davidson Daniel.


While parading Martins UgwuOkpeh, the real name of he suspect, to newsmen, Abayomi Sogunle, the force deputy public relations officer says the arrest followed an appeal to the police several months ago adding that the inquiry confirmed that Okpeh entered the federal Civil service with fake certificates and had attended many training comprising that on volunteers on Ebola outbreak in Liberia.
Okpeh while accepting the accusation, said he went into the federal ministry of health as an independent research worker.
The consequences is better imagined, had it been he operated at the clinical level. The good news is that he restricted himself to administration and statistics.

Police said the suspect will be charged to court as the investigation has been concluded.
