What Is PUSH-55?
- PUSH-55 is a fundraising challenge for Nigerian citizens and their friends. By this, we have created a fun and healthy exercise for everyone.
- The number, '55' represents 55 years of Nigeria independence.
- Push-55 therefore challenges every Nigerian to do 55 push-ups as a fundraising exercise to support Eternal Legacy's special cause - better life program for the underprivileged, neglected an disabled children and widows in Nigeria.
Our Objective
- The aim is to raise money to create opportunities and better life for the millions of under-privileged, deprived, abandoned and disabled children and widows in Nigeria.
- Eternal Legacy Foundation wants to build 6 career development and skills acquisition centers in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. (S.E, S.W, N.E, NW, N.C and S.S).
How Will It Work?
- Participants (Nigerians) are encouraged to do 55 push ups and to also donate money towards the above cause.
- Note: While you are not expected to complete 55 push ups, we encourage everyone to get involved and compete with friends, family and work colleagues. Keep it fun. Make it exciting.
Who Will Participate?
- Nigerians and friends - celebrities, professionals, business executives, civil servants, politicians(President, Governors, Lawmakers, Cabinet members, consultants, heads of service), uniform men and women, youths, adults, and citizens to participate in this PUSH UP challenge. The Challenge Explained:
Nigeria PUSH-55 mimicks the 2015, USA Ice Bucket challenge which raised millions of dollars for ALS research.
PUSH-55 aims to raise N7,000,000,000 (Naira) to support training for underprivileged and disabled children and Nigerian widows.
GETTING INVOLVED
- Rise to take this challenge. It is fun.
- Your aim is to do 55-PUSH UPS (you do not have to)
- Nominate five (5) friends and family members and call them up to see your video and do the same withing 48 hours. Challenge them to take part.
- Finally and most importantly, make donation to PUSH-55 at one of the designated banks below:
